This Joerns bed has extra space to make this into an extra long bed. Very comfortable with an Geomattress Ultramax mattress. Bed is immaculate. Whole bed can be lowered to the floor, or raised much higher. Castors can be locked, but easy to move when needed. Side rails can be used, or they can be slid out of the way. Everything is perfect.
